I am a clinical psychologist in private practice and have known Laura Silverstein for several years. She and I consult on cases regularly, which has given me an insider’s knowledge of her work, both in individual and couples therapy. I have the highest regard for Laura's clinical expertise and have referred many clients to her. From my knowledge, her clients report that she makes them feel supported and understood, and most importantly, that she is able to help them feel better and, in the case of couples, to connect better to one another and to overcome the difficult situations and patterns of interacting that brought them to therapy. It is important to understand that most clients are understandably not inclined to write online reviews about their experiences in psychotherapy, particularly those that are not anonymous. This is because confidentiality is one of the central ingredients for effective therapy.
